On the Steps of the Palace

As soon as I saw the theme for the ArtStation JAM, I knew I had to participate.

Cinderella has always been a favourite of mine. I spent my childhood lost in fantasies of beautiful gowns and dancing under the starlight. It's one of the main reasons that I started designing clothing and costumes. It was also an inspiration for why I started cosplaying.

I decided to do a more modern take on the character, rather than going with the traditional Victorian-esque ballgown.

This time, after she lost her slipper, she decided to wait.
This time nobody came after her.
